* "Recipe"
This spirited little film by Nikki Price and Jim Thomson – not Ida Derensky (fictious) – was created in honor of Flicker's 5th anniversary as a surprise for James Parrish whose dedication, boundless energy and hard work have made Flicker a sustained reality and have galvanized and nurtured Richmond's film community.
At this special screening of "Recipe", the action in the final moments of the film was played out simultaneously by the filmmakers live, with the delivery of a real birthday cake to the Canal Club.
Cake by Anne Jones.
